Texas Asphalt Pavement Association will be presenting a short course on asphalt. The topics are as follows:
- HMA mixed types and selection.
- Subgrade/Base preparation for successful pavement performance.
- Designing HMA pavements.
- Benefits of recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) for local aid.
- HMA materials.
- Surface prep/track.
- HMA delivery to the project.
- HMA placement and compaction.
- Inspection, testing and acceptance.
The seminar attendees will receive a four-hour PDH certificate from TCEL.
